Serenity is a 60′ cruiser Stern Narrowboat built in 2003 by Floating Homes Ltd and powered by a 38hp Beta Marine Diesel engine with PRM gearbox. She has recently undergone a 15 month refit which includes many new items onboard and also included a full shot blast and repaint with 2 pack blacking. Thanks to all this Serenity is a much newer feeling and looking craft than her 2003 build date would suggest. The popular cruiser stern provides a social outdoor area from which, as you enter the cabin, you will find a handy utility area currently housing the washing machine as well as various heating and electrical systems. As you move forward, on either side are a handy pair of wardrobes before you enter the nicely panelled bedroom which features a large fixed double bed, reading light and wall mounted TV. As you head forward down the starboard side corridor, to port you will find the WC. this features a ceramic pump out toilet and ceramic surface mount hand basin, as well as a generous amount of storage space. This vessel also benefits from a large shower cubicle which is separate to the WC and features 2 shower heads as well as the usual soap/bottle holders. Next we find the modern and large Howdens kitchen. As well as tons of storage and worktop space it is also very well equipped with gas oven, hob and grill, freezer, fridge, microwave, air fryer, stylish inset sink / drainer and a pair of side doors. At the front of the cabin is the saloon area where you will find a freestanding 2 seater sofa, classic sideboard unit, wall mounted TV and a Morso Squirrel solid fuel stove. Other features of this boat include 6 leisure batteries, 8 new anodes, Diesel heaters, 3.5kw inverter/charger, and 3 x 300w solar panels.
