Willow Garth is a 40′ all steel cruiser Stern Narrowboat built in 1991 by Liverpool Boats and powered by a Vetus M3.10 Diesel engine. She has been with her current owners for 8 years and you can tell she has been well cared for in that time. The front well deck benefits from a cratch and cover and there is also a cover for the stern deck. The stern is a good size for comfortable, sociable cruising. The layout is in the traditional style – entering the cabin from the rear deck takes you into the bedroom with fixed double bed that also provides plenty of storage underneath. Further storage is provided by a couple of good sized wardrobes at the foot of the bed. Moving forward take you into the galley. To the port side is a 12v fridge/freezer, stainless sink/drainer, cupboard, gas oven & grill and four burner hob. To starboard is a large unit with storage drawers and cupboards and further worktop space. At the front of the cabin is the saloon. This has a built in ‘L’ shape sofa which also converts into a double bed and provides storage underneath. There is a small table which can easily be removed and stowed when to in use. The saloon also houses the Boatman solid fuel stove but this boat does also benefit from Alde gas central heating. On the port side there is also a large storage cupboard. The bow doors then lead out on to the covered front well deck.
