Description
Thames Sailing Barge Lady Gwynfred, this was her barge boat – built as a replacement for her original tender. in the 1950’s. When the barge was taken out of service the dinghy was converted into a sailing dinghy. In her conversion she was restored and rigged to comply with the Mersea Fishermen’s Open Boat specifications, she has raced with the MFOB fleet ever since.
She is a 14ft clinker wooden gaff rigged open dinghy with a centreplate, with an axle-less trailer.
