2020/2021 Refit work:
From the beginning of November 2020 until the first weeks of March 2021, Silver Star was in the dry dock of Lavrio where not only the annual maintenance process completed but in fact an extensive rebuild program was implemented.
As part of this effort, the following are done:
1. - General repair of the generator (Fiser Panta 7.5KvA)
2. -Replacement of all fresh water, gray water and black water pipes with new antibacterial ones.
3. -Installation of a new battery bank with 1X50AH for the VHF, 1X180AH for the starter, 3X180AH for the service, 2X180AH for the winch and bow thruster. AGM (Absorbed Glass Mat) technology was preferred for reasons of safety, high resistance to discharges and optimal service to our customers.
4. -Replacement of the main electrical components with a new MasterVolt Charge Master Plus II 75A charger, Mastervolt AC Master 1000Watt inverter and fully automated 220V power distributor (AutoSwitch ABB).
