Reluctantly, and with a very heavy heart, I am selling my beloved Mount Gay 30
The Whitbread 30/Mount Gay 30 class was conceived in the early 1990s as a new ‘box rule’ racing class, equally suited to either fully crewed round the cans, or long distance offshore short handed or solo racing. It is loosely a half size version of the Whitbread 60s which were racing round the world at the time in what is now the Volvo Ocean Race.
Wildwood was built in 1997 and is almost certainly the best example – in her original design, construction, current spec and condition – you ... read more

I am the second owner of this clean and tidy boat. I have owned her since 2011 and she has been moored on a pontoon at Walton on the Naze thereafter. Her sails were renewed in 2014 and 2015 a new full cockpit enclosure in 2016 followed by a new stackpack and lazy jacks in 2018.
All lines lead back to the cockpit making short handed sailing easier and safer. She is an easy boat to handle and very responsive to the tiller and happy travelling astern.
She was cleaned, polished and antifouled in April and put back in the water in May.There is the last six years of service history She is now re... read more

Built in 1965 by Marcon Marine under Lloyds supervision and to their scantlings, this all GRP version is known for its build quality and proven record. Now considered by many to be a 'Plastic-Classic', the designers resisted the temptation to make a floating caravan at the expense of seakeeping and handling.
Unvarnished teak rubrails, cappings and grabrails, combined with quality deck fittings and a heavy grp layup make these boats exceptionally long-lived.
Good working side decks with a raised bulwark edge gives secure footing and the fore deck is a generous working area.

The Dehler 25 was designed by the renowned and well regarded yacht designer Van De Stadt. It is no surprise then that they have a reputation for being well engineered, with an enviable sailing performance. These characterisitics, alongside the high specification build quality of Dehler Yachts, produced a trailerable boat capable of coastal and inland cruising and club racing alike. For an almost 8m yacht, the space is intelligently used, to provide a separate galley, double forward berth and comfortable saloon area, including a sizeable built-in refrigerator. The ability to reduce the boa... read more
